Run 5k in your glitziest gym clothes?
Set a personal best in luminous leggings?
Take the dog for a run in its snazziest collar?
This year, Carers Week is all about Making Carers Visible. You can help by taking to the streets between 7th and 13th June in your brightest running gear.
1. Choose your challenge
Whether it's a brisk jog after work each day or your first half marathon, choose the challenge that's right for you. You can do it all on one day or spread your challenge over the whole week.
2. Set up a JustGiving fundraising page
By asking your friends and family to sponsor you, you'll be helping to make caring visible.
3. On the day, dig out your brightest running clothes and take to the streets
Bonus points for sending us a photo or video!
The first 10 people to set up their fundraising page by 20th May will receive a set of neon wristbands and headband in time for Carers Week.
1 in 6 people are carers. They look after a family member or friend who has a disability, mental or physical illness or who needs extra help as they grow older. Caring has an impact on relationships, health, finances and work, and carers are facing even more difficult circumstances this year. While many feel that caring is one of the most important things they do, caring without the right information and support can be tough.
The money you raise will make a carer's day a little brighter
£25 could give a listening ear to a carer in crisis
£60 could give an exhausted carer a little bit of respite
£150 could bring a group of carers together so they don't feel alone
Thanks for taking part
