Alzheimers Society

The Alzheimer’s Society can offer you:

A wide range of publications designed to support and inform anyone affected by dementia.

Age UK

Age UK offer community-based support services for people living with dementia and their carers to improve their quality of life. They have trained befrienders who can provide regular friendly companionship for people with dementia over the phone or home visits.

Age UK Advice is a free, confidential, national phone service for older people, their families, friends, carers and professionals. They have a team of expert advisers who will give you information that is reliable and up-to-date. Lines are open 8am-7pm, 365 days a year.

Dementia UK

The specialist dementia nurse charity. Dementia UK’s nurses are known as Admiral Nurses, who continually support and develop, provide life-changing care for families affected by all forms of dementia – including Alzheimer’s disease.
