Positive Wellbeing


Hello, my name is Caroline, and I am the  Wellbeing Practitioner at Carers in Bedfordshire.  

‘Wellbeing’ is all about being happy and healthy both physically and mentally. My role focuses on increasing understanding about what ‘wellbeing’ means to you individually and to promote positive wellbeing for all at Carers in Bedfordshire.  

During this strange start to the year, you may have noticed changes in your wellbeing. You might have experienced feelings of exhaustion, stress, anxiety, frequent worries, or feel low, irritable, restless or overwhelmed. Or this may be how you feel a lot of the time as a carer supporting someone else. Carers in Bedfordshire are here to help. 

We run lots of online events including wellbeing workshops covering Coping with Stress, Understanding Anxiety, Low Mood and Depression, and other common concerns that we all may face at some stage in our lives. Please see our ‘What’s On’ page for more details about upcoming dates. 

I also offer free 1:1 support for carers aged 11 and upwards. These can be one-off sessions or a series of frequent appointments: weekly, fortnightly or monthly, depending on your needs and what suits you. We can have these sessions over the phone or via Zoom and hope to be able to offer face-to-face sessions in the near future.
