Working together to deliver Dementia services in Bedfordshire.
Since the launch of Memory Navigation Service in 2016, Tibbs Dementia, Carers in Bedfordshire and Alzheimer's Society have worked closely together to bring about a better, more cohesive service to support people living with Dementia and those who care for them.
The three organisations are all working together in Bedfordshire to develop and deliver a range of services to help people living with dementia, and carers, to understand Dementia, provide support and advice and to encourage individuals to take care of their health and wellbeing.
Working closely with the East London Foundation Trust, who deliver the Memory Assessment Service, we aim to give people across Bedfordshire a range of joined up services that would meet their needs along all stages of a dementia journey.
- Alzheimer's Society provides services for people with dementia in Central Bedfordshire as well as services offered online and nationally
- Carers in Bedfordshire provides services for carers across the whole of Bedfordshire, who look after someone with a disability, mental health problem, who is ill, frail or has an addiction.
- Tibbs Dementia provides services for people with dementia and their carers primarily in Bedford.
